Come join us as we dance the night away while enjoying great food and great folks! The Witch's Ball is a charity fund raising event to raise awareness and funds for The Women's Resource Center of the New River Valley. Enjoy an evening of entertainment and celebrate the magick of the night with our special guests, Gavin and Yvonne Frost. So gussy up and put on your favorite Masquerade costume or go formal, the choice is yours!
Gavin and Yvonne Frost are two of the most recognizable and influential witch's of the past 50 years. They have written over 20 books on Wicca and magick and have many lectures / seminars that are highly sought after in the metaphysical community. They are the founders of the Church and School of Wicca in West Virginia and work closely with many local covens and groups to promote growth, understanding, and education in the Pagan/Neo Pagan communities. They are also known around the world as "The Dancing Witches" for their love of Tango! This night, they will give us a performance I am certain we will never forget!
Enjoy a Tarot reading or have a commemorative photograph taken to keep for yourself or share with others! Be mesmerized by the Belly Dancers or simply dance the night away! There will be many activities throughout the night to help raise funds for the Women's Resource Center and donation centers will be set up for inkind donations for the local food bank and animal shelter.

Our second annual \"PPD-like\" event...will be held on Oct 9, 2010 at the Mercer County 4H camp (Glenwood Park) beginning at 9AM and lasting until......?
Vendors we have special offers...our 10 X 10 spaces are $25.00...and if you refer othe vendors and they vend with us, you get $10.00 off your price for each contracted and conirmed vendor..
This is a free event, but donations are greatfully accepted to help us present this event annually.....
There will be music, workshops, quest speakers, and childrens activities...

Lughnasadh (Loo-nahs-ah) is also known as First Harvest and Lammas. It is a time to celebrate the things that have come to fruition in our lives and to share the bounty with others. It is a time for Summer colors of Red, Orange, and Gold.
Food is potluck, so bring something to share, and please let us know at council@PaganAllianceChurch.org so we can coordinate food.
Remember to bring picnic gear (chair, plates, utensils, cooler) as well as a bag to carry out the trash. Sun screen and/or a hat would be a good idea as well.
There is a fee to enter the park, which was $6 per car earlier this year, please check their website for current information.
As with all our visits to Thacher, we will walk the trail, so you would want to bring shoes (and appropriate clothing if you want to stand under the falling water).
We will be at the Indian Ladder Trail area.
To find us, go to the main entrance (the pool entrance). Take the very first right, it will take you to the Indian Ladder parking lot. You will see a restroom to the left and we will park in that area. The site we usually use is just down the hill. There will be green ribbons hanging along the path to guide you to us. There is poison ivy there, so please stay on the path.
Sunday 11th 3-6:pm Lotions & Potions- Crafting Spa Gifts Day $45.00 fee includes all paperwork, supplies, samples and light refreshments .All students must PRE-REGISTER. No day of class SIGN-ins please. There are many supplies to prepare. Don't you deserve some pampering? Come and have fun learning how to easily make spa items for a fraction of the price charged by the salons & spas! Includes items such as salts, milk/oat baths and fizzies, rubs, soaks, masks for hair/face, toner, wraps and more. Make personally scented gels, oils, lotions, scrubs, creams, balms & salves, and much, much, more! The class will cover techniques & recipes to make products, make & take samples, packaging, safety, and other topics. Great for Mother's day gifts or keep them for yourself!
Wednesday 7th 7:pm Workings For Dreams & Divinations $25.00 Tarot? Pendulum? Dreams? Tea leaves? Runes? Coins? Talking Boards? Scrying? Bones? What do they all do? What does it mean?? Learn all about these divinization tools and much more! We will discuss the good and the bad, the large & the small, the easy and the difficult. Now is your chance to try something new! Class fee includes materials & all supplies for class project.
Tuesday July 6th 7:pm Workings For Money & Prosperity $20.00 Got Money? Need a boast in your pocketbook? Need a raise? Do bill collectors have your number on speed dial? Everyone wants more money! This class will help you learn how to find, earn or receive more money and grow prosperous in your life. Class fee includes materials & all supplies for class project.
Thursday July 1st 7:pm Workings For Grounding & Stress relief $20.00 Got stress? Need to calm your Mind, Soul, and Spirit? Do you have problems sleeping after Magickal workings? Hard to concentrate? Grounding helps you become calm, centered, and fully rational and able to grow prosperous in your Life! This class will help you learn how to properly ground energy, before or after magical workings -Or to relieve stress. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a pillow or cushion to sit on. Class fee includes materials & supplies.
Tuesday 29th 7:pm Making, Creating and Organizing a BOS (Book of Shadows) $25.00 Every Book You read, Every class you take, every web page you see- tells you that a Grimore or BOS is a MUST. But what is it? What does it look like? What is in it? Can I make it myself? What if I have rotten handwriting? What if someone else reads or touches it? Can I share with my friends? Learn the difference between fact & fiction and all the answers to these questions and more! Saturday 26th 6:pm Shielding, Psychic Self defense, and Protection.$30.00 Do you feel someone is "after" you? Is your energy level always low? Need a sacred, special safe place?
